The chorus has a nice full and rich sound that contrasts nicely with the verses.

Thank you Marty for your warm welcome…I’ll try and keep ‘em coming. I must say that everyone is very positive in this forum. I’ve been desperate for some independent review and critique of my songs prior to using BIAB. Despite posting to YouTube and getting a few views, no one comments or leaves feedback…not even the missus!! Apart from Andrew Dee, until now all I’ve been getting is crickets…which makes you question whether it’s worth my while. So glad this community offers plenty of encouragement, and I’m open to more criticism if it’s warranted, so don’t hold back guys.

Yeah, I did try to emphasise the full sound in the chorus using the vocal aahs and my aahs on top of them. Then back off on the verses just to give that contrast. Thank you for listening and reviewing.

Excellent debut! I’m looking forward to hearing more of your work as you move ahead. I esp liked the varying dynamics, and some of your rhymes are top-notch (stage/page). Don’t worry about the vocals, they are fine, and, like many here, I’m glad to hear your actual voice! So the only question is…What’s next?

Thank you TM. I too am looking forward to what I can do next. I have about 20+ songs that have been produced just using Cakewalk that I could plunder. I have one song that hasn’t been produced at all. I was playing around with it this morning and have yet to find a style I’m really happy with. The title of the song might raise a few eyebrows and the moderator might give me a yellow card, but the whole song is a chuckle really. So in that it’s tongue in cheek, it will be a totally different style to ‘Lights’.

Welcome and a very cool entry tune.
We live in a blues, Americana and classic rock music world.
This is a nice fit, for us, as classic rock.
Sometimes when new with BiaB it's easy to overload the mix.
Be we sense nothing left to add and nothing left to take away. A good thing.
We enjoyed it and especially liked the two line chorus ... one that says it all.
