Hello fellow musicians! I am a new member of PG Music. While making music in Band-in-a-Box, I've stumbled upon the AI lyrics and would like to go over the Songwriting Assistant feature and honestly give it some flowers.

To clarify, there is a charm to writing lyrics yourself that AI can not duplicate, but understanding and being open to the helping hand it can provide can really work wonders. Going over the Songwriting Assistant mode, I've realized just how vast the scope is when searching for a start or foundation to a song, whether it be structure and arrangement, or simply what to say and how to say it.

To begin, you can open up the AI Lyrics window if you go to the menu Edit | Lyrics | Open AI Lyrics Generator or press the A I L Enter keys. In the dropdown menu near the top, select "Songwriting Assistant"

Once you're there, follow these three easy steps:

"Enter text, press Generate, and start the chat"

Enter in an idea of what you want the song to be about and how you'd like it to feel. In the AI Response section of the window, you'll quickly have lyrics with arrangement and highlights to focus on. For example, I went with the idea of touring as an artist seizing the moment, and how to really embrace the fruits of your labor (along with some struggle). I typed the idea in, and in a matter of seconds was met with a response already giving key ideas to focus on and some possible emotions to invoke when using the lyrics.

Here's an example of the idea generated:

**Verse 1:**
- Paint a picture of the hectic yet thrilling life on the road. Think about the constant movement, the different cities, and the energy of the crowd. Maybe start with imagery of waking up in a new city each day.
- Possible lines: "Wheels keep turning, city lights are burning / Every night a new stage, a new page I'm learning."

**Chorus:**
- Capture the essence of "controlled chaos." Emphasize the balance between the chaos of touring and the control you have over your performance and art.
- Possible lines: "Living in the whirlwind, but I hold the reins / In the eye of the storm, I dance through the flames."

**Verse 2:**
- Reflect on the moments of introspection amidst the chaos. Perhaps focus on the quiet moments backstage or the feeling of fulfillment after a successful show.
- Possible lines: "Behind the curtain, in the silence I find / The echoes of dreams I’ve left behind."

**Bridge:**
- Highlight the rewards of your hard work, the fruits of your labor. This could be the connection with fans, the thrill of performing, or personal growth.
- Possible lines: "Every chord I play, another soul I ignite / In this chaos, I find my light."

**Outro:**
- End with a sense of appreciation and readiness for whatever comes next. Emphasize the idea of embracing the journey, despite its ups and downs.
- Possible lines: "On this road, the chaos and calm collide / But every mile, I'm alive, and I ride."

At this point you've already got a good foundation but if you'd like to shape your lyrics even further, try using the "Common Elements" section in the bottom left.
