Wow, didn't know you went to Berklee. That explains those choice bass chops. Yes, Beth would sound awesome on this. Love that smoky cafe you visit. Have to go there some time.

Bob, you have this genre down perfectly! Great vocal and harmonica. Super grove created by the perfect back tracks.

Terrific song even if it contains a pet peeve (beginning a sentence with So...), cool band.
Is the bass slightly left leaning?
The only thing I'd want is some treatment for sibilant stuff but no one else has commented so it's probably just my ears.

rayc, YES! I can't stand the way millenials use Sooo, with a big pause after it. I actually have been trying some new things to get my mixes to glue together, especially those goshdarned infernal vocals. I appreciate the help you and FJ have given me. You also showed me a lot on sibilance, but unfortunately I never can quite get it. If my vocal is sitting in the mix well, that's progress. I'll have to check the bass. Like I mentioned, the waveform looked crazy, maybe that is the issue. Thanks for your comments, glad you liked the song!

Thanks so much. This is one of those "Made My Day" reviews! I'm so glad you liked this tune. I actually have been sitting on it for three years, maybe more, hoping a vocalist would pop up.
