This is my cover of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here, cover of Wish you were Here which includes 3 BIAB Real Tracks: fingerpicked guitar, dreamy electric guitar, and resonator. I'd have posted it in the User Showcase thread but that's for originals only. Fair enough. This is not my tune but there are some original twists, and I do think they showcase the BIAB parts well.

Very nice work! I left a longer comment under the video. Thanks for listening, and for your very validating comment! I.e. "Some very beautiful and original ideas in your cover. As a lifelong Pink Floyd fan who has heard "Wish You Were Here" countless times, I was prepared not to like it. But you got me! A very moving version." I knew from the start of the project that I didn't want to try to do a carbon copy of the original, but in adding my own take I did feel as though I was stepping out onto a high-wire. Glad that, in your view, at least, I don't seemed to have slipped and fallen  I think one barrier to people even choosing to listen is that with a classic tune like this, they are expecting same old, same old....

This is such a good song that I don't think I'll ever tire of hearing covers for. Excellent job on this, and I think the three Realtracks you chose for this particular project work very nicely!

Gorgeous, ethereal production. Fabulous vocals. Might let that last chord play out and decay naturally, as a musical phrase seems to cut out in the middle instead.

Lovely vocal but the lack of the dominant riff leaves a hole for me. The rest of the arrangement is nice.

THANKS for posting! Thanks back atcha, Ron. You're right about the last chord ... I reckon I was at the point of "I've been messing with this track so long, time to cut and run!" Fighting my own tendency to spend endless time tweaking, seeking perfection, and never finishing

Just to be sure I understand, by lack of a dominant riff, do you mean you don't hear enough recurrence of that two-part motif ( the five- note phrase followed by a 3 note phrase, i.e "da da-da da DA.... da da DA" (hope this makes sense) ) which you hear right at the start of my version track? It is true that for the most part I did push it into the background after that.
