after posting about the problems I had transferring my song from BIAB to RB I received advice from posters like Rharv,Noel etc on how to do this but after I did the drag&drop they were all out of sync with each other.Then Andrew from PG said the reason why the tracks were out of sync was because I wasnt rewinding the song back to the beginning after each drag&drop and it worked.Now Im having the same problem with the guitar solo which is out of sync with the rest of the tracks.Even though I rewind to the beginning of the song its still just lagging behind the rest of the tracks so can anyone tell me what what Im doing wrong. Thanks Frankie

I'm glad that between us all we got things working for you! A question: by "guitar solo", do you mean one that you have played in a recorded or a realtrack one?

If it is consistently off, meaning say 1/4 beat all the way through the song, you should be able to slide the solo track left or right to sync it. If it gets progressively more off it sounds like a tempo problem.

As to the original problem - having to "rewind" the song before dragging the next track?
Interesting, I had never heard (or needed to do that) before.
As to the R/T solo being off . . .
Are the rest of the tracks Midi or R/T?
Do any of the tracks have a drum-click count-in?
Is it off by just a little (meaning a beat or so) or off by like a whole measure?

Hi Barry&Firstbassman,tempo is different on biab and rb so Ive just adjusted this so will come back and let you know if it worked.All the tracks are RT and I do have a drum count in.Frankie

Tempo of the dragged track has to be the same as the destination tempo.

Hi Frankie,
When I'm generating RT solos and I'm using Realband to mix the song, I always generate them in Realband. There's much more control in RB than in BIAB with solo generation.

Hi Frankie, Indeed it does. It also means that you can re-generate sections of a track, or parts of a bar even, until you get the best possible fitting solo for your song. The Realband tutorial is worth looking at if you haven't seen it. I learned a lot from it.
