Earlier this year, I tried to write and produce a rock song. I don't think it was a failed experiment but I was so far out of my comfort zone that I really had no idea what I was doing. My basic approach was to keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. It is clear from your song, though, that you did not use the "fingers crossed" technique. Everything that you've done sits very comfortably in its place and, as a whole, the final sound is full of energy and attitude (just like rock is supposed to be, so they tell me). I really, really loved the experience of listening to this track smile

Noel,

As always, you are much too kind. But I can deal with it!

Actually I didn't use much of any sort of method. I clicked on the wrong Style set, and this happened. All I did after that was slightly change the chord pattern, drums and, threw in a couple of synths to fill out the soundstage. A little less than four hours total on this. Sometimes you get lucky, and things just work out good. I can often equal or exceed a challenge, but I can never beat luck!

Thank you again for all those very kind words. And I'll bet your project isn't nearly as bad as you make it out to be.

Wishing you everything good.

Alan
