Hi floyd.

It's good to see you smile "Mozart-like" chord progression? That's very astute of you. Seriously!!! It's not Mozart, but it was written in 1784 by Jean-Paul-Égide Martini, one of Mozart's contemporaries. Around 80% of the chord progression I've used belongs to Martini's classical French love song called "Plasir D'Amour".

I was zig-zagging around Youtube and landed on an old Nana Mouskouri video. I found both the song and her singing really captured my imagination, so I opened BIAB and things went from there.

It turns out that Hugo Peretti, Luigi Creatore, and George David Weiss were also once inspired by this same song and they used it as the basis for Elvis Presley's 1961 hit, "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You".

Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate them. I think my singing days are probably over (or maybe confined to the shower at best). When I got Covid in 2022, it impacted on my voice (and getting old doesn't help all that much, either). Fortunately, Synth V and BIAB make it possible for me to still be able write and make music. That's fine by me!

Thanks again for taking the time to listen and pass on your thoughts.

P.S. Things going fine here in my part of the southern hemisphere, thanks for asking. Compared to what I read about the USA at the moment, life in Australia is very straightforward, predictable and enjoyable smile
