Hello Mike,

Sorry to hear you are experiencing this error. We would like to suggest trying to reset RealBand to Factory Settings.

Note: You will have to reconfigure your MIDI and Audio settings and your pathways to point to the correct directories once this is done.

Please go to Options, and press Reset to Default Settings. If this does not work, please close RealBand, go to your RealBand folder (usually C:\RealBand, but if you installed to another drive may be E or D as an example), and delete the following two files

realband.ini
RB.CFG

Note: File extensions may be hidden, so look for a configuration file with the same name or a paper icon with a gear over it; if you're using 64-bit, the files will say 64 in them.

Next, please right click on your RealBand shortcut and select Properties | Compatibility | check "Run program as administrator" and click apply. Then just double click on your RealBand to launch it.
