Thanks for dropping in. It's always a pleasure to see you smile Thank you for finding the time to have a listen. That's a really interesting comment about "Puff The Magic Dragon". You are correct. There is a similar quality that's common to that song and "This Tree". I wonder if it's anything to do with the fact that both use a I to iii (C to Em, in the key of C major) chord progression in leading phrases. The vi minor chord (Am in the key of C major) also features fairly often in both progressions. By the way, I love the song "Puff The Magic Dragon", and I very clearly remember learning to sing Peter, Paul and Mary's version in primary school when I was around 9 or 10 years old. It's a song that always fills my mind with pleasant memories.
