Hey Folks, So every now and then on the forum, when listening to a song, I hear things. And when I listened to Rob's So I Love You, I heard things. Thankfully, when I reached out to him, he didn't say, "How long have you had this problem?". Instead he was game to let me play around with his tune. This is the end result. I had done a comedic version too with some passive-aggressive remarks and jokes about the ace with his ear against the wall... "We know you're listening, Barry!"... but I it was mostly for my own amusement. Too sweet a tune to murder like that. Vocally did my best to match his phrasing. It's not perfect, but I think it works. I doubled our vocals and treated everything with a low pass filter because everything was sounding kind of sharp (not in pitch but in quality). I hope it hasn't deadened things, but rather warmed it all up a bit. Feedback in this regard or in any other regard appreciated. https://soundcloud.com/user-770148857/so-i-love-you

Beth, I am absolutely thrilled with what you did to the song! The improv lines were brilliant and the whole tune is taken up several notches. Thanks so much for your work getting this track to truly shine!

This was a excellent song to begin with and has now been taken to the next level. Amazing duet, beautiful interpretation of the original and an overall great sounding piece of music.
You guys sound awesome together and should do more of this...

Oh, WOW...this is "special" indeed! The tune sounds like it was always supposed to be like this. Just perfect. Super job, Beth! And Rob...hats off to you for crafting such a cool song AND opening it up for a collaboration. Sweet!

Beth and Bob - well done on this marvellous collaboration. It sounds like it was always meant to be! Both your voices and the song crafted seems to fit so well as a duet, and the style of the song compliments this as well. Good on you Beth for spotting the potential and for you Bob for allowing Beth to work her magic.

A very lovable song Rob - sweet lyrics and a great tune & harmonica,
the arrangement and mix are excellent and your vocal suits the song
really well!
Beth, your duet addition elevated this song beyond measure,
not easy to sing in tune and match someone else's phrasing -
you did a perfect job of both while giving the song a live feel,
your voices blend really well together making you sound like
a pair or pro performers on stage - great job both!!

So I love this as a duet, and what a wonderful duo. Both of your vocals are perfect together, and I'm so glad you hear things like this, Beth. I love the changes in the composition and the clever harmony, occasionally trading lines, occasionally responding and occasionally singing together. Man, Bob, you KNOW I love the sound of our harp playing. Great collab!!

Beth, you took Rob's outstanding song and raised it many bars higher. Your vocal fit his perfectly. In fact it reminded me when Natalie Cole sang with her father Nat King Cole via computer magic.

What a terrific duet! The original by Bob was great. Beth, your contribution really makes this soar. What a delightful listen.

Lovely to hear how this forum has connected two talents to make this delightful collaboration, it was bound to be first rate. Lyrics are sweet and you two together make them very warm and cozy, great job done to make the fusion of your voices sound so perfect. Great smooth band and excellent harmonica completes the nicely wrapped package, I would say this is the sweetest song I've heard on this forum this year.

What a cool collab and it immediately reminded us of Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme singing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”
This tender lyric works so well as a
sweet Fred Astaire love song or as a playful duet.
Enjoyed the reinterpretation, and of course that delightful harmonica solo!
