This is very impressive on many levels.

Wow, thanks Noel! Sometimes solos - but sometimes also rhythm section instruments - come out perfect on the 1st generation, but so often even the best regenerations contain mediocre phrasings, so it's either produce something that works in part, but doesn't in others, or create hybrids so that the best phrases from different generations work together. One instrumental I finished a couple of weeks ago needed a strong and dynamic guitar solo for the climax of the piece and there was only one Style which had the right sound, but all of the more dynamic phrasings were in earlier parts of the entire sample, so I kept on regenerating the solo until I had 4 with climactic sections in the final bars and then I cut and pasted them together and it's now a short but super climax ending. It just wouldn't have worked had I not done that. Also, just today I've finished a movie soundtrack style instrumental which starts with a solo rhythm section piano, but it needs that piano to play a melodic chorus 4 times and samples just won't repeat the same notes in the same order, so I ended up creating a 6-part hybrid just for the rhythm section piano. There are also 4 perfect notes played 38 seconds in and I needed those same notes in the following bar. It took me 4 attempts to paste the same notes into the next bar so that the following notes played as if natural follow-ons. The 1st 3 attempts failed as there were jolts where the 'pasted' notes didn't flow with what came before or after, so it's sometimes hard work, but it's always worth it when it comes together.
