This is a completely new version of the now deleted "Venus Walks" of 2023, which used just a single Style. It's shorter than the original by 25%, plus it has 100% new instrumentation including panpipe. As it's shorter I've had to delete some of the images from the original video, but I really should have deleted more as the remaining ones, 33 in total, don't appear for long enough.

Cast in order of appearance:
1st Warm Pad & Strings: Enya - Soft Ev 16 Techno Orche ~uncredited
2nd Warm Pad & Strings: Sirius - Smooth Jazz ~ uncredited
Organ: Country Rock Guitar Solo, Pop Ba ~ Gene Rabbai
2nd Organ: Giddy Up Country Ballad w Organ ~ Blair Masters
Guzheng: Snow Gentle World Flow ~ Dai Lin Hsieh
*Panpipe: Seek Smooth Panpipe ~ Alejandro Fatur
Koto: New Age Bossa w/ Koto ~ Miles Black
Bass; Country Rock Guitar Solo, Pop Ba ~ Tobin Frank
Piano: Pop Ballad Solo Acoustic Piano ~ John Jarvis
Drums: Country Rock Guitar Solo, Pop Ba ~ Brian Fullen
Harps 1&2: Heaven Blissful Celtic Harp Pop ~ Sharlene Wallace
Synth Pads 1&2: Whales Lap Steel Synth ~ Blair Masters
**Fiddle Solo: Fidget Bluesy Pop with Fiddle ~ Andy Leftwich
Cello: Runaway Soundtrack Country ~ Matt Nelson

136 bars; 3/4 & 4/4, Em; 110bpm; Time 4:49

* The 1st Panpipe stem is a hybrid of 4 different samples as lengthy single sample generations are never interesting enough alone.
**I reduced the volume of the opening notes of the Fiddle solo in Audacity as they start off too loud; setting: Amplify -3.

That's an interesting combo of 3/4 and 4/4! I can appreciate all the work to string together multiple RT phrases to get the result. You are very accomplished in handling the many elements of a work like this--I wish I had that kind of mastery! Thanks for posting!

Chay,

This is a an excellent musical piece. Love the flow and vibe. Such an eclectic mix of instruments and they all work together perfectly. You have a great ear for arranging and mixing.

EXCELLENT!

Thanks, Tom. The 3/4 and 4/4 come from a song I wrote in the 80s. As the original "Venus Walks" was one of the first instrumentals I created in BiaB I experimented and there are now 4 versions of it, only the 2nd being all 4/4, and my next post will be the 4th and last, which is also my favourite: "Venus Walks Again".

Thanks, Bob. Tonight I'm in the zone for arranging and mixing as I've been working on a tribute instrumental for a deceased lady-friend and still living son, but while I really liked what I had it wasn't as good as another I've recently finished, so I've been experimenting with around 20 new samples and I ended up with 4 perfect final solos, which surprised me as first time around I couldn't generate any which did the job. I've now got it down to 2, but currently I can't choose between them - but I've really been enjoying the process.
Venus and I both thank you! smile

Chay, this is fantastic. An unusual blend of very different instruments that are perfectly mixed together. Super time signature changes. Outstanding arrangement.

Back in my day the only time we started panic buying was when the bartender shouted "last call"!

Thanks, Mario. It's thanks to BiaB that I can mix and match instruments from different cultures, but I'm still missing balalaikas, a charango solo style, plus bassoon, oboe and piccolo.

Chay, nice to here this one reimagined. You're definitely adding new textures and dynamics that ratchet up the emotional impact. Excellent mix. Only one more version coming? Oh, no! I'll miss this one when it's gone from the forum's new song posts. smile

Yep, I remember Venus' first walk. You've made some amamzing strides with this one, Chay. Not only did you take her through some cool places in your video, but you provided such good musical accompaniment to her stride. Excellent mix with so much in there and yet it is all heard as important pieces in the song.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thanks, Ron! I'm just about to post the final one, "Venus Walks Again", which is also the last of all of my channel-swaps and remixes. It's taken 10½ months to complete them.

Thanks, Marty! The final one of the quadrilogy (and my favourite of the 4), "Venus Walks again" is just about to be posted. It's also at last the final of all of my remixes. I'm so relieved that it's all new material from now on.
