Lovely vocal but the lack of the dominant riff leaves a hole for me. The rest of the arrangement is nice. Thanks Ray for listening and feeding back. Just to be sure I understand, by lack of a dominant riff, do you mean you don't hear enough recurrence of that two-part motif ( the five- note phrase followed by a 3 note phrase, i.e "da da-da da DA.... da da DA" (hope this makes sense) ) which you hear right at the start of my version track? It is true that for the most part I did push it into the background after that.
