Great groove with just the right amount of bumpiness to support the song.
Perfect for my next road trip!
Thanks, Brain. It's all just 256 shades of gray. Enjoy the ride!

Thanks, Scott. Yeah, that one BiaB guitar started the whole idea of the song with his beep-beep kinda sound right in the begining, and I copied it throughout.

And life instructions are given as elegant metaphors, finally "All the nasty bumps on our road we paved with love" ends the cruising safely.

And what singing! The melody shows the ups and downs of life and I really like how you bend those long intervals, it feels like you are skillfully drifting those curves of life.

Great band, your bass and Bill's pedal steel are the pistons in the cylinders to give power to this vehicle of life called music.

Thanks, Janne. Yep, this driving is a lifetime adventure, and since I'm typing this, it ain't over yet. smile You're right, the metaphor of "home" is not death-do-us-part, but more of smooth sailing the rest of the way. Glad you heard the singing that was meant to sound bumpy with lots of air time (as the roller coaster fanatics would say). Bill's pedal steel was like the steam roller that flattens the road patches. I'm not usually a fan of what I call Shondell's basslines, but for this one the constant 8th notes (in parts) worked as pistons, as you say. Well said, Janne, and thanks again.

Enjoy whatever happens!
