At last this is the final remix and channel-swap of all of my posts since 2023 ~ due to the guy who reinstalled everything on my PC after a severe hack accidentally switching my left and right stereo channels, which I only discovered in November last year. In that process 3 of the original instrumentals have been completely redone and so are completely new versions, not just remixed oldies. This year I've also posted 3 completely new instrumentals, plus I currently have 4 brand new instrumentals yet to be posted, plus a 3rd new strings-based version of the "Flowing Lady Deya" song.
"Venus Walks Again" is actually the 4th (and last) version of the series which use the same chord structure as in the original, but I've posted it after the completely redone "Venus Walks" as the wordage in one of the first and last images thematically follow on from those in the original video.

Chay, well, no matter how many times I hear this, it just NEVER sounds less than stellar. Those 3/4 to 4/4 changes are killer. Like when the organ is out front on this one. That last guitar solo is really cool, too. As always: SUPER sound!

Chay, IMHO this is you best remix of "Venus Walks Again". Love that organ, blues harp, and lead guitar. Again an outstanding mix and in fact I should start calling you M&M, i.e Master Mixer. I think you have a PHD in mixing. Loved it.

Chay, You get the best organ sounds! Love this remix. Everything sounds so big, lush and balanced. You are a mix master! EXCELLENT! Bob
Thanks, Bob! I'm so glad it's the last of my channel-swaps and remixes as only a few have had more YT views than the 1st time around, while the vast majority have gotten far fewer. All new stuff from now on.

Appreciated, Ron! This particular version is definitely in my top 10 favourites, yet while the feedback I receive here and elsewhere is always excellent my YT views have dropped considerably. Whatever rhythm section instrument I was playing I'd love to perform this with a band on stage, or even just watch a live band playing it.

All very tidy and in its place. I'd have liked some kind of walk up to the intro though. Well done.
Thanks Ray. I think the intro is perfect as it is, plus I feel that any addition to it, be it 4 or 8 bars, 3/4 or 4/4, would break the flow.

Thanks, Mario. I agree, this remix is definitely better than the previous, but having the channels the right way around was crucial for me. Thanks for the comment on the mixing! I only wish I was as skilled at mastering, but I have no experience in that at all.

Chay, A good listen. Dig the sound on both the Bass and Organ. Mix is good. fj
Appreciated, Floyd. As I replied to DC Ron above, I'd love to be able to perform this live, or just watch a skilled band play it. At night in an open air festival it's the kind of music which would have a great response - or at least that's what I imagine!

Loved the guitars; I have never liked the sound of organs, just a weird personal thing, but Treadwell was quite good, may change my mindset. I've found it hard to use that LD Miller harmonica but you did very well with it. Good track overall.

Thanks, Rob. I've always loved the sound of keyboards since the 60s. I was born and raised by the sea and the keyboard sound from David Cohen in Country Joe & the Fish always made me imagine beaches and the ocean. The "Stop" instrumental by Mike Bloomfield and Al Cooper is still an all-time favourite instrumental; plus I'd love to have in BiaB an organ like in Bob Dylan's "I Want You".

Great session guys, nice dynamic mix and an engaging arrangement. Love that crunchy guitar solo.
Great redo!

Much appreciated J&B! That guitar solo is my favourite part of the track as it's just spacey enough in all of the right places. I was beginning to feel that this instrumental, which is in my top 10 favourites, was getting neglected as I had quite a few later responses to "Oh, My Girl" (from August) come up, which helped to keep this pushed down the thread. It's also another case of a favourite track doing really poorly on YouTube as it's had the worst results of all of my uploads this year. I'll be posting a sung song tomorrow, but now I'll keep getting late responses to "Venus Walks Again" and no-one will see it!
