Classic Marty, Marty. Excellent vocal and band. I appreciate the unexpected in the lyrical story. Reminds me of my sister and her husband who got divorced one week and remarried the next! Thanks, Beth. Yeah, I'm a sucker for happy endings --or at least hopeful endings. I have a friend who married his first wife second, but then went on for thirds with another. Sheesh. Good song, Marty, love your vocal!
Guitar is right on the money, nice find! Thanks, Dave. Ain't nothin' as good as you in there. Beautiful, and one of your best vocals yet. Good choice of instruments (I dig that tremolo guitar) and nice bass line which might be a dB too loud on some playback systems. But what can you expect from a bassist  Enjoyed my listen. I really like this - it's my new favorite of yours. I love the mix. I always mix my backing tracks a little louder than many people on the forum, and you have done that here, and it plays so nicely in my ears. The two rhythm guitars are panned with a lot of real estate between, and I like how it widens the soundstage. The tremolo guitar fits in the mix perfectly - just enough to know it's there, and that's all it needs.
