Here is my biggest hit Soi vienosti murheeni soitto, with 2.390 plays. Thank you for listening and here for useful hints and critics! Note: Translation of the lyrics below. Frans Oskar Merikanto (in pic; until 1882 Mattsson; 5. 8.1868 – 17.2.1924) was a Finnish composer, musician, conductor and teacher. Unlike his contemporary Jean Sibelius, he gravitated towards a simpler and more folk-like expression. He became one of the most beloved Finnish composers among the people, which was also influenced by Merikanto's linguistic background. Merikanto is especially known for his solo songs, such as this: Soi vienosti murheeni soitto, op. 36, no. 3. Text by Heikki Ansa (author Edvard Erland Lück 1876–1936). Composed and published in 1899. In my version I sing and play mandolins (octave and Napolitan), tenor banjo and guitars. Plays mildly my sorrow's music, plays gently my longing's playing! Yet more tenderly jingle to those, that brought sorrow into my chest.

The only useful comment I can give is the the ending fade out is a bit too quick.

Besides the banjo and guitars, did you also add drums and the solo guitar?

The amount of plays matters to me. Neither of getting rich nor famous, but to prove that I've managed to produce music, that people regard worth of listening. That encourages me to carry on with my pass time as an retired boomer.

It's certainly a song full of folk lyricism.
The lyrics are in Finnish?
It's no wonder it's the most played song.
