Hi Janne,
There are a lot of things I like about this song. The subject for one. That you rhymed glory with satori (I'm impressed!). And the chosen BPM...perfect. And the interesting layering of instruments.
I really liked the video with the song. It was a meditative experience with the visuals added. Thanks very much for your nice review Glad that you liked also the video and my meditative vision reached you Janne

Hi Janne! A good song and a thought-proking message. I really appreciated the final minute or so, allowing time to listen and ponder. Good video as well. I liked the nature scenes, and was bothered by the ‘noisy’ scenes, and I guess that’s the point. I get quite bothered by advertising nowadays - so in-your-face or in-your-ears. Andrew Thanks Andrew for your nice comment Glad you liked the outro and understood its purpose as a moment to breathe and listen. Janne

Janne, what a fantastic song. Loved your synth vocals and especially the lyrics. Super arrangement and chord progression. Loved those strings! Outstanding mix.
Loved it. Thanks Mario, I appreciate you pleasant review Glad you loved the strings, even though I didn't reach your high level in the use of (midi) strings. But you were in my mind when I tried to reach the majesty of your music. Janne

Janne,
So beautiful and so well produced. Excellent lyrics and vocals. The combination of synth vocals is truly exquisite. Awesome mix as well.
Loved it!
Bob Thanks Bob, I really appreciate your positive comment Strangely, I just used "exquisite" to describe your storytelling, I have a very long way to reach your level of songwriting. Janne

Hey Janne,
Great subject matter for this song and well thought through lyrically and musically. The production was excellent. I was reminded during the chorus of David Bowies Blackstar album, just a few similarities there. The chord variations in the verses took me by surprise and they worked well. My only criticism, and it’s something I need to watch myself, during the verses there were a couple of times the music was louder than the vocal, so I couldn’t understand what was sung. But great song, well done.
Kind regards. Thanks KW for your detailed and postive review of my song Great to hear that you found Bowiesque in my music, I just listened the Blackstar album, didn't notice direct similarities, but I really appreciate your reference. Thanks for pointing out the vocal mixing, I used unmasking to lower the levels of the piano parts that were clashing with the vocals, but it seems that not enough. Janne

We could not agree with you more about the physical and spiritual benefits from the sights and sounds of nature. This is a beautiful melody with engaging chord changes.
The synth singers sound very good (and relaxing) as does the mix of their harmonies. Background mmm’s add an extra nice touch.
Speaking of the mix it all sounds excellent.
We love the arrangement and the outro is beautiful and a perfect ending for the lyric.
“Hush cacophony for a while” is a wonderful idea!
Enjoyed it!

Janne,
Beautiful. A terrific message.
Love this production! BIG. Yet, full of space. Cool drums/percussion.
A Stunning Mix. Few things have ever sounded this good coming out of my speakers.
Great use of BIAB.
Outstanding.

Janne, super topic and tune! Love the harmonic progression and the cool percussion (with a wood block?). Very skillful use of synth vocals as well as a very nice overall vocal arrangement. Loved the leisurely instrumental ending. Fewer enjoying the silence these days for sure, but I loved the intelligence of musicality of this lovely song. Thanks DC Ron for your positive review The percussion is a woodblock, belonging to the Multi-Drums of the style. Janne

Gentle, relaxing, chilling - I like your song. I'm lucky, I live near the forest and walk my dog every day to enjoy the sounds of nature. The only disturbing noise might be me working out melodies for my songs. So, if you ever see someone a cappella-ing in the woods, that's me Thanks BD for liking and kindly commenting my song "Gentle, relaxing, chilling" describe the song as I intended. Based on the operatic songs you have made lately, I assume your forest walks can sound very operatic Janne

Yet another innovative, contemplative effort from an uber-creative talent. I loved hooters of the hurry, holy evergreen, satori. Also eco-fascism. (Didn't know that was a thing until I looked it up!) Message was great and well-received by these ears. Melodic flow was slightly askew in a few places, but that may be the subject matter and language barrier. (Probably perfect in Finnish.) Bridge to outro was cool. Overall, another fascinating bit of music from an artist who lives outside the box. Thanks TM so much for your lovely review I smiled happily many times while reading things like "uber-creative" and "lives outside the box" I left some rough spots in the melody to avoid vocals to sound too robotic, maybe that's what you noticed. Janne

Janne,
This is so contemplative and relaxing. Serenity at its best.
Your music is always interesting and often thought-provoking. I'm never sure when i click on to one of your songs for the first time, but I always know it's going to hold my attention. You are very creative. One thing that impresses me is your finite command of the English language for a non-native speaker.
Very nice, indeed!
Alan Thanks Alan for your nice comment of my song and your very kind words about my music and skills you really made my day, "Serenity at its best" - I'm glad you think so! Janne

This is very, very well done. You have really excelled with this song. Your creation is amazing and your use of Synth V is fantastic. To me, your chorus is a standout. Listen to the silence through all the noise around hear when a crowd makes no sound. Listen to the silence not the man-made machine but the holy evergreen. I found myself pondering that last line over and over. The way that you have set up the word "silence" to be called "the holy evergreen" is very clever writing. I have never used this technique but I am great admirer of it now that I've seen it. If ever you see something similar in my lyrics some time in the future (assuming I'll post more songs), you will know that the technique came from you All the best, --Noel Thanks Noel for your pleasant comment, I really appreciate your positivity in your words here and in your music. Glad you liked "the holy evergreen" idea, I don't know whether it is clever, I just wanted to express a "hit record" that has existed long before humankind. Janne

Nicely done, Janne, very original and fresh sounding. Cool melody, love the feel. The long outro really works well.
Enjoyed the video too! What software did you use to produce that if you don't mind my asking? Thanks Dave for your positive review Thanks for asking, glad you liked the video, I use Adobe Premiere Pro for the video editing, I have created AI images by using Leonardo AI, Copilot and Photoshop and many times I use turbulent displacement effect to add movement to these images. Real videos are from Adobe Stock or by me, I have some monthly credits to use for creating AI videos using Adobe Firefly. Janne

Janne,
Cool concept for a song, and you do it justice in both the write and production. Engaging and contemplative. Excellent work here, Janne . . .. but then you’re productions are always top notch. Lovely harmonies to boot.
Deej Thanks Deej for your heartwarming comment Janne

Hi, Janne.
Nice! The vocal melody and backing do a great job matching the ideas in the song.
Lovely bit at the end.
I had to laugh at the line "hooters in a hurry", since Hooters is a well-known American restaurant. I have great respect for those writing songs in non-native languages! Thanks David for your kind review It was originally "horns of the hurry", but "hooters" fit better for the melody - of course I was referring to cars here, but I'm glad it made you laugh - I have recently seen a funny video clip concerning that restaurant where a guy avoids looking at the waitress Janne

A lush sound with a nice melody riding it. I did get distracted by "...no hooters of the hurry" though. Whilst I know what you were going for it still stuck out as a amusing - puerile of course.
Cheers rayc "What's so funny about peace, love & understanding?" - N.Lowe

Beautiful arrangement. The percussive elements are alluring and placed well in the mix. Lush vocal sound with the harmonies.
