When the vocals are stacked they get a bit aggressive as well.
Your arrangements sound much better with a solid melody to hang onto.
Well done.
Indian is Asian...that's one reason India is referred to as a sub continent.

Thanks for listening and responding Ray. I listened to the track again after reading your comment, but I don't hear what you hear. Also for me "aggressive" is the antithesis of what I hear.

Chay, you are absolutely correct in that this is the best version of this song. The string section compliments her fantastic vocal perfectly, brilliant! I was not distracted by the organ at all. As usual an outstanding mix.

I'm looking forward to your next song featuring Lucy.

Man, it sounds so good with vocals --and such good vocals. Love the lyrics and the melody. You always surround it all with some excellent musicians and the perfect feel --like in those strings. So well mixed.

When it comes to classical music, I say if ain't Baroque, don't pick it.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Thanks, Mario! Lucy's already accepted the next project, but on top of what I've already sent her she wants me to send her a demo of me singing it as it's a hybrid instrumental and vocal song (7 x 4 line verses) to get a better idea where she comes in, so it may even end up as a duet!

Much appreciated, Marty; though re classical, while I love baroque I also love a lot by Debussy, San Sean and others. I think my all-time favourite piece is Sibelius' "En Saga" which I'm amazed has never been used as a movie soundtrack - it would have been perfect for "The Lord of the Rings" - plus he wrote some great tone poems, though I greatly dislike his and others slow, morbid and depressing symphonies. I'm also not very keen on opera - except for some extracts like from such as "Carmena Burana" - as I can't understand a word they're singing! Like used to be said in the 60s, "It's ruddy jungle music! Can't understand a word they're singin'!" laugh

Gratitude Beth, (If I haven't mentioned it before) the lines "Flowing Lady Deya stilled my mind that day" & " Flowing Lady Deya you came down to me" are references to a 2007 experience I had when I awoke after very little sleep to the presence of the Divine Feminine all around me and She completely stilled my thinking mind and emotional body so that I spent the entire day in the authentic enlightened state. I could do all of the usual daily tasks, but I never had to think about any of it and everything was just a pure flow - thus the "flowing". I was also able to write from that level of consciousness (6th heaven) and in a nutshell I wrote about the Creation from the perspective of the Divine Feminine. That tract I called "A New Invitation: Divine Woman Invites You, Singing Om". I plan to get a female to record it - someone with a very spiritual voice which evokes the Divine - but it'll need some kind of low volume mystical sound or music behind it, and if I can find a way of doing that using BiaB then one day it'll be posted here. But I've found that all such plans are dependent on my prarabdha karma allowing it.

Thanks, Scott. Both Fiverr vocalists I've worked with supplied oodles of BV stem files.
