Hi, B.D. That's a pretty cool soul song, probably from the 70s or so. Yeah, after realizing how poor I was at emulating contemporary music, I figured I'd go with something I knew a bit more about. I'd put the first chorus after the first verse already because it's really, really good. Wow, thanks! I figured the use of a doubled chorus would make up for the delay. The background singers in particular (whom I'd made way louder because they are so good) elevate the song to a whole new level. Thanks! Sometimes a song is heavily influenced by the last song I did. In this case, I had the background singers a bit too loud on the chorus, so with this song, I probably went a bit too far in the opposite direction. My new favorite from you.
