When it comes to classical music, I say if ain't Baroque, don't pick it.

Much appreciated, Marty; though re classical, while I love baroque I also love a lot by Debussy, San Sean and others. I think my all-time favourite piece is Sibelius' "En Saga" which I'm amazed has never been used as a movie soundtrack - it would have been perfect for "The Lord of the Rings" - plus he wrote some great tone poems, though I greatly dislike his and others slow, morbid and depressing symphonies. I'm also not very keen on opera - except for some extracts like from such as "Carmena Burana" - as I can't understand a word they're singing! Like used to be said in the 60s, "It's ruddy jungle music! Can't understand a word they're singin'!" laugh
