Greetings back, Beth

Thanks for bravely sharing 'I Am That' – a track that certainly lives up to its 'New Age Balsam' moniker, offering a delightful sonic balm for the soul. It's always a treat to hear a piece so clearly crafted with intention and a sense of spiritual purpose.

I'm not aware of the original to compare but the rework truly shines through; those added harp, strings, and extra cello part weave a wonderfully rich, ethereal tapestry. There’s a beautiful weight and depth to the arrangement creating a resonant foundation that feels both expansive and grounding. It gently washes over the listener (me), much like a peaceful tide, perfectly setting the stage for your nonduality mantra.

The lyrics, of course, are the heart of the piece, and they're delivered with a clear, unwavering focus. 'Not what we seem in God’s own dream' sets the tone beautifully, and the repetition of 'I am THAT' feels both deeply grounding and wonderfully expansive – a genuinely effective mantra.

Overall, "I Am That" is a beautifully crafted piece that achieves exactly what it sets out to do: soothe, uplift, and gently guide. It's a testament to the power of thoughtful arrangement and heartfelt intention. You hesitated to share last year, but I'm glad you didn't this time – consider this a very successful resurrection! It's the kind of track that makes you want to float rather than walk. Bravo!

My besties
Izzy.
