Loved it Thank you, Mario. You kinda live right in the middle of Dave and me. We should all get together at your place some Sunday. Clever lyrics, I'm still hesitating to look into the creature's eyes, but your song makes me feel more comfortable with the idea  Great band, simple but how nicely instruments work together, like the rowing rhythm guitar and the guiding organ. Enjoyed the vocals that truly experience the glow of the faces and eyes in your deep inside. The super talented Dave and world class bass player create a safe boat ride even in those scary rapids. Janne Thanks so much, Janne. The creature is your creation. "Rowing rhythm guitar and organ guiding the path;" I like your way with words. Yep, it's always safe to have Dave escorting you over the hard times and the bass keeping you up from the bottom. Really liked the personification of the "river guide." Great song concept in general. Singing very good as usual, love the character in your voice. Dave's guitar, great as always. In my dreams that will never happen, if a major label ever wanted to produce an album of my songs, I'd tell them there's this guy in Ontario you need to fly in for the guitar parts. Bossa organ was an interesting choice, but it wasn't prominent in the mix. Another good 'un, Marty! Thanks a lot, Bob. Yeah, Dave would've been an excellent session guitarist. Marty, once again you've got the vocals and bass totally under control.
I especially like Dave's fantastic guitar solo. It's great that Dave was given so much time for it.
He makes perfect use of it.

Man, I had forgotten all about this song!
Good one, Marty, thanks for having me along for the ride! Ha, not surprised, Dave. We have a lot of songs finished in the hopper. You, sir, are the captain of this ship, and I'm just a passenger --maybe with some navigational influence. That’s a cool introspective lyric and this line grabbed us:
“Once you learn you could be it that river in you flows.”
Dave’s lead and his fills too are excellent. Very supportive.
Your fine vocal carries us happily on this journey down the river.
As always your bass and open/dynamic mix nailed the vibe.
Nice little kick off with the drums too.
We enjoyed our trip!

Excellent vocal and lyric. Backtrack and instrumentation choices were excellent as well... Thanks, Scott. Bass lines are real important to me. After the drummer, they can influence the song's feel so much. Yeah, speaking of feeling, right from the Intro Dave demands attention and respect.
