Thanks MarioD. I haven’t tried any of the effects running in my PC when trying to record thru my Scarlett. I figured there would be a huge latency problem that would negatively affect my playing and singing. I thought I needed all the effects running in DSP in the audio interface. Are the newer PC’s fast enough to handle this? I need an amp sim for my guitar plus EQ, Comp, and Reverb for voice. My Surface Pro is fairly new and has an i7. I have a 12 year old i7 win 10 machine that still works perfectly for recording. Just be sure that your Scarlett and BiaB are in ASIO mode and there will/should be no latency. You may have to play with the Scarlett's buffers to get no latency: I have to do that with my audio interface and in fact one has to do that with all audio interfaces. IIRC there has been some reports about ASIO and BiaB problems. Since I never have recorded in Biab I don't know if that is still happening or not. Others will have to chime in on that.
I phoned my wife and asked her if she wanted me to pickup fish and chips on the way home.
She just grunted.
She still regrets me naming the twins.
