< I am not looking for workarounds, nor complex, deeply hidden, unorthodox (in software world) operations. >

That's why I responded. It isn't a workaround, it's definitely a BIAB feature. It's operation is described in the manual and help file. It works exactly as you and Shlind have described you would like it to perform. It's displayed on both the Recently Played Styles and Favorites Dialog Pages.

< I am offering a simplified suggestion. Kindly respect the wish, even if some kind of workaround is available. >

You may just need to clarify your suggestion. Describing the Favorites Dialog being 'global only' is incorrect. It operates as a per-project file too.

< Likely some people would like to use "global" favorites for Styles and tracks, but my humble guess, most of us use favorites on individual composition basis. If the feature is considered, there should be a global and persistent (that doesn't auto reset) >

This suggestion is logical and a useful proposal. The developers may consider a modification to the existing feature to make the per-project feature more visible. Particularly for those who may be auditioning Styles and choosing Favorites across multiple projects globally who aren't currently saving specific project sets.

These files can be saved to and retrieved from any folder or drive on the Computer or externally. The user gets to decide whether global or project specific list is displayed. The global default is logical because it allows for users that may be working on something that initially isn't a project but that becomes a project to be able to save a project file without having to start from scratch as well as using existing Style list to jump start a new project.

Have you tried using it for a project?
