The Meaning !
Hopefully I am not posting to many new numbers too fast for the rules, I am sure someone will let me know. However, I have been super ill these days and while trying to get better I contemplated the meaning of life for me, and maybe someone else. I use the same procedures, BIAB (rendered personal .STYL), lyrics, sometimes both together, DAW, voice, Guitar, do a cover to add the A I voice over. Thanks for listening.

Hi Donny!
I like that surprise chord on 'meaning' - unexpected but sounds natural - as do your lyrics - they flow nicely and have lots of wisdom in them.

Are you able to post the BIAB style and tracks you use? This means if a listener likes the style/tracks used, they can look it up and use it. It also demonstrates your starting point and what you added (or subtracted or amended) to arrive at the final song and mix.

Again, a wonderfully listenable song! Like it a lot!

So outstanding! Beautifully made, and expert on all levels. I'll just comment on the lyrics. Loved the repetition of the lines--great approach, and your melody wasn't crowded but left just the right space for your tight lyric. A couple of rhymes that I wished were a bit different:
I think you had "forgive/lives"..maybe an oversight, but "forgives" would be cleaner.
You also rhymed "chord/word"..after so many perfect rhymes, this one stood out as maybe one that could be improved--they are alike when written, but do not rhyme in speech.
However, this was a shining star of music for me this morning, and one of the best that I've heard in a long time!!
Great work!! Glad you survived the scare!

Hi Donny,

This is a beautiful song. It has a vibe that reminds me of Santana. And your vocals too.
I didn't hear anything that didn't belong in it. It's simply gorgeous; it has everything!

Donny,

Awesome result of your contemplations! "Its the silence that speaks when you're done with the words." Love that line and your song. Thanks for sharing this smooth, calming, healing piece.

Hi Donny,
Really good song in every respect.
But: If it's really just the voice that's AI, I'd be really interested in the BiaB song memo.
Maybe you could add it.

Hello, thank you for the comments, as for this particular song as well as many others I write, I create my own BIAB Style and then rebuild start the project from there. BIAB adds my new style and compiles it, after it issues it, it only resides in my personal styles. It will not show up on anyone else's puter. I went ahead and made a render of the style (which includes all voices), this is a typical file I start with. After this I download the rendered file into my BR-1200 and off to the races. Then I can stem it off and work like a DAW or my stacking recorder. Does this help?

Hi Andrew, the song is 98 BPM, the key of Ebm/Gb and the chord you mentioned is Gb, also I use my own personal Styles that I create, and the system only lets them reside on my personal system. Yea, I am Avante guard, but you can be too. This industry is just getting started to be open sourced.

Hi, Donny.

Nice write and melody.

Smooth arrangement.

It seems like a ton of work to create your own RTs!

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi, Donny. Hope you start feeling better soon. Know how health issues have a way of sharpening the senses.

Very pleasant song, though honestly, I'd rather hear you busk it. Just my preference. You have an appealing busking style.

Correct me if any of this is wrong (I'm wrong a LOT) but...

The posted "cover" is an AI vocal over an AI backing track. The AI backing track and vocal are based on a BiaB backing track and vocal of your creation.

So the listener is hearing an AI version of your song, inspired by a BiaB backing track and vocal (and maybe guitar leads?).

Your personal RealStyle is based on standard BiaB RealTracks. You have combined PGMusic supplied BiaB RealTracks into a unique style, but not created any new RealTracks.

If the above is true, know I'd be interested in hearing the track that AI worked with, just to understand the role of BiaB and the role of AI. We never get that here.

Sorry if this sounds antagonistic--not intended!

Wishing you again good health!!!

I did post the a.i. input track, well 1 minute of it, scroll up and look for the rendered input track, it is much slower, around 85 BPM, you also are correct in that I got to name the new style, but that was about it. I haven't figured out how to make a RT that can be used by everyone. I certainly have been looking. I also am having some problems, as is everyone with the ClipChamp Captions, they do not always write the words I gave it. But hey, I am getting out there in the front end. Also, I know what you mean, I mute the voice and do most of the singing myself when I busk. That is the beauty of this new method, I have complete control, not that I am ego maniac, but....good sounds, the name of the game, getting there is our job.

But creating a true RT (RealTrack) from scratch in Band-in-a-Box is a deeper process, and here’s the honest truth: BIAB doesn’t currently let users create official RealTracks in the same way PG Music does.
Create a UserTrack (BIAB’s DIY RT Alternative), maybe I will try this. Way too much fun these days.
BIAB has a feature called UserTracks, which lets you record your own instrument playing over a chord progression and use it like a RealTrack.

Here’s the basic flow:

Record yourself (or use Suno) playing over a known chord progression.

Save the audio in a specific folder structure.

BIAB will use your recording to generate accompaniment over similar chord progressions.

It’s not as flexible as official RTs, but it’s a way to build your own sonic fingerprint.

Write chords in BIAB: Treat it like scripture—each change a verse, each progression a prayer.

Export MIDI or chord chart: Use this as a guide or seed for Suno.

Generate Suno track using your chosen voice: Let it sing your chords back to you.

Import Suno’s .wav into BIAB: Use ACW to analyze and refine.

Save as .STY: Rename with spiritual or emotional intent (e.g., MICHAEL.STY, REVELATION.STY).

Reuse for synergy: Let each .STY become a motif across your playlist.

If I understand your description, all the audio we are hearing in your song - the bass, drums, keys, and vocals - with the exception of your guitar playing, originated in Suno, correct?

That you converted Suno's music into a style seems like a distinction without a difference. 😕

Hi Donny!
I’ve been investigating UserTracks as a side project. It seems straightforward of the help notes are true. But, I keep getting sidetracked by songwriting!

I believe there is a user forum for UserTracks. Here’s the link You can request a UserTracks on that forum also.

What a great feel. The whole package is breathtakingly good. That guitar skates across the melody and completes it. I really like melody and the grab-ya lyrics --the whole idea of the song. Dang, man, this is so good. Hope you are well soon, Donny.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Almost, I rarely use Suno to create audio, and never use it to create lyrics (for ownership purposes), when you don't know the chords, unless you play by ear, I do, but it takes too much time for me to learn someone else's tunes, especially when I am sick like this. I use BIAB to write my own chord work first, and write my own lyrics with help from rhyming tools etc.. this forces Suno to use my chord work only. So, I don't use Suno to create from scratch, I ask it to make a cover of my exact song from the uploaded BIAB song, limiting it. I can then focus on the best tools to use to produce it. I have many tunes that use the BIAB RT's, but for this upcoming album/playlist I want synergy. So, I am using a limited number of voices and bands. I realize this is entrepreneurial and if it violates any rules just let me know and I will move on. BIAB is a great helpmate. Thanks for listening.

I have gotten requests to finish the how to, so instead of PM I will post it here. Once your BIAB song is done with your lyrics and playing, here is how to let A I sing it exactly as you wrote it and not change it.

Hi Tano, yea that way is going to change it. Suno thinks you need help, you had to figure that out first. Download your song as a .wav file to your downloads. First in Suno, change the tempo and key to be correct. Go into the top left of Suno and input your audio file .wav file. After Suno uploads it, you will not see the chords yet, but the song is loaded, if you hit play, you will hear it. Now go into the VIEW section and choose ACW, go down and find ANALYZE, it will ask you to partition by bar and write your chords for you, say yes, and you should then be able to go to the songs THREE DOTS and the top one asks if you want it to COVER your song, hit COVER, then hit CREATE. Then it will follow your song and create two COVERS with the A I voice over only. If, in the style section you typed Michael, it may in fact use the Bublé voice, that is how I found it (you cannot say his full name, but you can his first name). Now, like I told you before, if you go to ask it to use my PERSONA, go to PERSONA and type in Michael, it should find it, I made it public, pick it. If you need more input just let me know.
Maybe I should consider teaching, lol.

Donny, you’re prolific.

Another beautifully arranged song and your lyrics just seem to flow without effort. I wonder if they come easy to you, or if you’re like the rest of us mortals and stare at a blank page waiting for inspiration?

Well done, kind regards.

Donny, what an outstanding song.
Everything is perfect.
Love the smooth jazz vibe.
Those guitar licks are amazing. Are you playing them?
Sounds great, my kind of music.

I phoned my wife and asked her if she wanted me to pickup fish and chips on the way home.
She just grunted.
She still regrets me naming the twins.
