There's a big issue with impersonation on Spotify. It's easy for someone to put out music and claim that it's someone else, or that it's done with another artist. That way, they can embed themselves onto a semi-popular artist's playlist and get some of that sweet, sweet cash.

Of course, they can't do that with really popular artists, because those people have a level of protection that the plebes don't.

This addresses some of that.
