Many years ago in the original cakewalk forums, one of the folks there posted this. The amount of time and effort that Jerry Davis put into this is simply astounding. If I remember the details of some of the conversation in the thread, he had well north of 50 tracks. Entire sections of violins and the various other parts of the orchestra. All meticulously entered note by note using the score to the music. He entered each note one by one into Cakewalk recording software as midi and using more than 12 instruments from EWQL sample library..... adjusted the velocity, attack, and levels of the notes. The project took more than 4 months start to finish.
