Petimar:

What a great, classic C&W swing song, thanks for sharing!
Not sure what your BIAB workflow is, but here's mine for setting up a song with this kind of beat.

- I like to start with an all MIDI style, so that when entering chords or making changes, I don't have to wait for RealTracks to re-generate
- For this country swing song, I would use TANYUKER.STY, it's my go-to.
- I then enter the chords into the Chord Sheet and do any necessary A-B substyles settings etc.
- I also keep (as my default), the "bar lyrics" line available, so I can quickly add notes like Intro, Verse, Chorus, Tag (etc.)
- Once I'm happy with the chords and layout, I save it with that style, (like mysong_OLS01.sgu) (OLS are my initials, so I remember that I worked on it)
- Next I turn my attention to finding a RealStyle that might better fit the song
- When you select this style, i.e. TANTUKER.STY, then in the Memo box at the bottom of the window, it shows a RealStyle substitute
- "[ RealStyle sub=_ROUNDUP.STY Medium Country Swing w/ Resonato]"
- I usually try this BIAB suggestion first, to see if that's what I'm after. Also, BIAB will sometimes suggest a RealStyle in a pop-up box.
- For your song here, I like AudioTrack's suggestion better: _PSSOLSH (I don't have all the styles he does so one of his others might work too)
- Lastly I save it again like mysong_OLS01_RT.sgu or something similar, to indicate it contains RealTracks

Before we had a plethora of styles to choose from, I made my own RealTracks substitute for TANTUKER, putting in the instruments I liked.
Here's what mine looks like: (this is what shows up in the Memo box at the bottom of the Styles window).

_OLSCNTY.STY. OLS Country 01 mimics TANTUKER
All RealTracks. Quintet. Tempo=120 (105-135)
Instruments: El.Bass, Ac.Piano, Ac.Guitar, PedalSteel, Drums

I've saved this style to my Favorites folder as I use it often.
Good luck on your style search, let us know what you decide on.
