My workaround for this glitch has been to shut off the "play when finished" function. Previously, it would commence to play inside the plugin as soon as it finished the track generation. By shutting it off, the problem doesn't happen. I drag out the track to the DAW and play it in the context of the entire project.

Side note. I've had to do something else too . This became apparent over the last month or so in several songs. I was noticing pops , clicks and glitches similar to soundcard driver performance issues. Random and always in different places in the song telling me it wasn't a track problem. Muting the plugin didn't work. The only solution I found was removing the plugin and deleting the plugin track. I had originally thought I had somehow managed to get a corrupted project so I copied the audio to a new project but got the same results. Deleting the plugin solved the issue. This doesn't happen on every project but when it occurs, deleting the plugin solved it. Adding the plugin back to generate additional tracks starts it back again so I generate and then remove the plugin.

And yes ... Lastest build.
What is the audio buffer set to in Sonar? Are you using ASIO or a different driver type? Also, if you go into the plugins preferences, under DAW Settings do you have "Use separate thread for playback" enabled or disabled?

I'd have to look to see what the buffers are on, but I don't often change them from the default settings. I only use ASIO for Sonar. I guess it would depend on what driver is being used by the combination of Sonar with the nested VST trying to run it's audio. I do know that there are other drivers on the machine because I can run BB with Sonar already open and both will provide audio. Since Sonar was opened first, it grabbed ASIO which only runs one thing at a time. I'd need to check on the thread thing.

At this point it's not a major deal since I have shut off the auto play feature. I have noticed that the audio from the VST plays synced with the Sonar audio. I've got to remember to mute the VST track since I don't use the audio from the plugin. It's in the project for one reason. To easily generate tracks and drag them into the DAW.
