BLINDFOLD
This was an experiment using the AI tool "Audimee" for my vocal...I think I'll be using it selectively for other projects.

Self-inflicted blindness;
A flower hugging the wall,
I'm missing every call;
My mouth goes slack and
I just hold back;
Me, a withering sack
I turn away!

The action's happening right there,
Underneath my blank stare;
I may be played for a fool;
It's crazy..

One less precious day--
A day that I'll never get back ;
It's lost to time!

I gotta ask:
What's the hitch, what's the catch, the snag?
What's the use?
I wind up holding the bag.

What part's not there?
I need repair;
I'm too timid to act;
I want to care!

I never knew it was near,
Your soon-to-hit-me niceness;
One whispered word in my ear,
Life changed that day;
'Cause you washed away my blindness
And opened up my eyes;
It was good old-fashioned kindness
That gave me life.
