"A really simple 3 chord song, sometimes simple is best" Three chords and the truth has often been said and this fits to a T. Great lyrics! Your vocals sounds fine to us and are well arranged. Nice group of BiaB session guys also. The mix sounded good on our monitors. We babbled on a bit in the PS about how we deal with your perceived mix issues. Enjoyed it, J&B PS "To my ears, whilst the mix seems to sit well it seems a little bit heavy, dull and or bassy." Those issues (don’t hear much here) are tailor made for a mastering chain to reduce. FWIW If not interested in diving into mastering sometimes simply looking at the eq on tracks can tell you where they are stepping on each other. Then you can make changes to reduce boom, etc. Prolly stating the obvious so pardon!
