FWIW using an AI backing track to one's playing an instrument and/or singing is OK. I think it is the same as using BiaB as an backing track. I am not in favor of AI generating an entire song. YMMV

PS - If AI get to the point, if it is not already there, where one puts in chords, asks for a music genre, and produces a backing track(s) BiaB will be in big trouble RT/RD wise.

Hi MarioD, thank you for responding and yes, I agree with you, that is why I posted this, so that songwriters can see that it is possible to use A I for backing tracks for your original progressions. I also agree that using A I soley to write/perform/publish a work is not a proper use of A I, for me A I is a tool just like BiaB and I will never use it as a do all, end all. Yes, A I is to the point where a songwriter can generate an A I backing track with vocals and lead guitar parts that can be de-stemmed and muted out for live playing or recording your own voice over or lead or add harmonies, the industry is ready, players and writers are behind on this one.
