I've been using Cakewalk products since the mid 90's ( Cakewalk Pro Deluxe 8 ) and don't recall them ever bundling Blue Cat products. I know they were including Sonitus plugs because I still have those in my plug-in bin.

That's no doubt correct. I was on Cakewalk from the early days as well. Was probably a soundcard or something else then that bundled Blue Cat stuff. I do remember the Sonitus plugins though. Those were the days.

I must own 500 plugins, but I've slimmed my newish DAW down to (mostly) the ones I really use. The Cakewalk Studio Strings plugin is something I still use a lot, and found that it's still available. Which is of course very cool. I own a recent version of IK's Studio Max, but probably have 1% of it loaded. Nice to know it's there though.
