I think this is what they call a 'benchmark'. Lots of good to say about this and your work. I love the section (do we call it a bridge?) with its rising bass line, and the way you sing some words in an unexpected way. The solo on the way out breaks the stereotype as well, with pleasing differences in tone between the guitars.

Before I had read any other comments, Springsteen came to mind (not that I know a lot of his discography), so it was good to see that David remarked on this as well. In the phrases 'i want to be the face / i want to haunt your dreams / i want to show you a love' where this stood out.

Thanks, Andrew. I appreciate the mention of the guitar solo and especially the bass line (since I taught myself bass recently - kinda right before recording this)
I get a lot of Springsteen "influence" notes when I do these type songs. Not intending to "sound like". It's just the way I end up creating my rock-i-er stuff. I did listen to a lot of Bruce growing up. But I also listened to a LOT of Tom Petty and no one ever tells me my stuff sounds like him (I often wish it did)....
