A night person's anthem, a songwriter's haven of quiet times. Love it, but covet is better that dove it. I swear I'll try. Ha. Don't try, just dot it. We can all use this song to get us started for sure. Man, the istrumentation on this is phenomenal. Fantastic vocal --oh, I said that. I'm on my 3rd listen cuz I reallydig this, Izzy. Such a good song; so dang engaging.

Oh, and you have great friends.

Marty, thank you so much for not only listening but for giving it the coveted three-listen endorsement! That genuinely means a lot.

I’m thrilled the dynamics landed; that section felt a little like steering a ship in high winds when mixing. And I completely agree: starting with the bass is the rule—the universe just sounds better when B flat leads the way. A "night person's anthem" is the highest compliment; isolation is where the best ideas hide.

Now, about those “great friends” you mentioned...I'll make sure to pass along your praise to my dedicated, slightly overwhelmed, and highly schizophrenic internal music coalition.

I appreciate you digging into the instrumentation and the mix. It was a dark, isolated labour of love, but hopefully, the efforts of my collective personalities paid off!

Thanks again, Marty! So glad you enjoyed it.
Best Regards
Izzy
