Really excellent song, Ron! Brilliant lyrics which had me laughing here and there. Great instrumentation and production. My favourite song on the forum in this visit. Thanks, Chay. Funny how humor and perception work. The first few times I worked through these lyrics, I only heard the grim humor and wanted to emphasize those laughs in the music. But now I can only hear the sadness as the narrator recalls the petty offenses with bell-like clarity, but not who this person is next him. This is one of those lyrics I've turned 180 degree on, I guess. But the layers of ambiguity are what make this one special, at least to me. Glad you enjoyed the song!
