Andrew, I liked this. I’m a big fan of writing from a challenge like this—seems like most times you get something that’s much better and pleasing than you thought would come from it. I esp liked your idea of using the chord inversions to get the upward bass while the chords moved down. There’s also a risk of making the melody not very interesting b/c you want to follow either of those lines, but you avoided that pitfall and created a really nice melody line. Great work!
