At high school dances, there would always be songs the band would keep in reserve for when the mood of the audience would sag a little bit. The bandleader would call out the song title, and the signature riff would start reverberating off the cinder block walls and maple floors of the gym/dance floor. Partners would join hands and race to the dance floor like spastic moths to a butane flame.

"Asphalt Therapy" is that kind of song...

Ron,

Thank you so much for this detailed and enthusiastic review 🙏🏻

I’m thrilled you picked up on the specific production elements—. And knowing that the rhythm guitar is holding strong as an "anchor" makes me very happy to pass that on to the quality of biab RT's,

As does the compliment of it being an "IZZy Top" burner! I might have to steal that nickname.😍

But the comparison to the high school dance floor reserve song is the highest compliment you could give. I love the image of those "spastic moths to a butane flame."

Thanks again for listening so closely and for taking the time to write such a powerful and vivid response.

Cheers,
"IZZy Top" 🤭 blushing
