I didn't think you could mix a Suno vocal with Realtracks, but Christian explained to me how he did it on his recent bossa nova. And it worked. I was able to include my harmonica as well. Many thanks to Christian! (Chris37). It's a simple pop song but I like it, especially the lyrics.

RealTracks in style: 1397:Bass, Electric, Soul70sSync Ev16 100
RealTracks in style: 2194:Piano, ElectricVintage, Rhythm CoolJazzPop Ev 085
RealTracks in style: 2448:Guitar, Electric, Background, PopDreamyBrent Ev 085
RealTracks in style: ~1435:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm JazzFunkGroovinChords Ev16 110
RealDrums [in style:SouthernPopFunkySoul^01-a:Hat, Snare, b:Ride, Snare

Lyrics:

We do a lot of things together
Seems like we're always having fun
Then we go separate ways, whatever
That's when I start to come undone

Everybody knows that I'm in love with you, my baby
Everybody knows except for you
Do I have to write it in the sky somehow, well maybe
That's what I think I need to do-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo

Starting out as friends, it was so easy
Didn't have to worry 'bout my heart
Now I wanna write a better treaty
Arms and lips will play their part

SOLO

Everybody knows that I'm in love with you, my baby
Everybody knows except for you
Do I have to write it in the sky somehow, well maybe
That's what I think I need to do-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo

Nice to see a new one from you, Bob, and always a treat to hear you play harmonica.

I'm not a huge fan of Ai and music, but there is no question that the Suno vocal sounds really good. Amazing really!

Nothing wrong with simple pop songs in my book BTW, especially when they are as good as this wink

Bob,

That's a great pop song. Very cool how you blended Suno with the RTs. Sounds excellent. The overall production on this piece is just great.

Enjoyed!

Rob, cool tune and GREAT arrangement. That's a nifty little band, I especially like the bass. Super harp work, as always. Very clean mix, too. Nice technical job recovering your harp work and the BiaB backing track while using synth vocals. Would be surprised if PGMusic doesn't spin this feature out of the box for 2026...

Hi Bob

That’s a smooth sound you’ve got going on there. Nicely polished production, couldn’t fault it. The lyrics are perfect, full of sentiment and gel well with the music. Good job get that harmonica in there too.

Good work, regards.

Gotta be honest; The Harmonica opening made me think "Country" song, lol. Then the groove kicked in with the instruments and was thoroughly surprised! Beautiful song AND mix. Isn't Biab fantastic?

Great song,

Hi Rob!
I heard the opening I - iv chord change and immediately thought ‘We’re in for something good here’. That chorus is ear candy and your Suno vocal choice works well, as well. Your harmonica work - sublime as always - adds a cool, casual flavour. This was great to listen to.

Excellent love song and I love both the chorus and harmonica. Suno AI vocals definitely do the job, which IMHO SynthV rarely did.

"Mostly, I put these up as guide tracks for actual vocalists." That's what I feel about all mine too, Bob. YES! Thanks, Chris. This is incredible, Bob. RTs, a singer who can belt out what you write, and more importantly maybe is that there is still room for your wonderful harp playing. Man, what a good song, and the mix is fabulous. Do you mix or is that Suno? I stayed to listen to Space. Man, you're gonna light some fires now that you hired all these cool vocalists. Hey, but keep writing those short stories. [Can you get them into a Kindle book --an eBook? That way I can take them with me.]

Enjoy whatever happens!

A good song, great use of BB and production, but: These AI vocals always leave me cold blooded: they sing the melody ok, but are missing the rendition, the emotional interpretation of the story. I rather like human voice, even with it's mistakes and limitations. I've decided not to comment songs with AI vocals, but did it this time. Excuse me, but we Finns are famous of saying straightly what we think, even tho it may be rude.

Thanks, Dave. I agree, genres are just genres, and they all have both good and bad music in them.

Thanks, Ron! You must be reading my mail, as Tom Waits would say. I really like the arrangement and bass in this. I must admit I don't play harp as well on even groove stuff. I need that swing to really let loose. And yes, it will be interesting to see if PG Music does something vocal related. We'llsee.

Thanks, James. I should have left more space for the harp solo, but oh well.

I have a version with a RT sax that frankly is much better. But I was too excited about having learned to mix my harp with a Suno vocal and RTs not to include it. Thanks for your good review

Thanks, Andrew. As I mentioned above, I don't play even groove stuff as well with harp as I do blues and jazz. I gotta have that swing to really get going. But this wasn't too bad. I'm happy with it
