A cool and loud rocker - just what the doctor ordered. Right up my alley, good drive, great guitars, super singer. The drums aren't my thing, the ring of the snare sounds bad because it's thin and blended with the overheads, and the kick could have more oomph at places. I'd just replace the drums with a RealDrum and call it a day. But apart from that, I REALLY enjoyed my listen ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/images/icons/default/thumbs_up.gif) Thanks.... I like some good old hard rock from time to time..... Drums are the bane of my existence in the world of music. I'm working on that.

I love that riff!!! What a full sound. What a rocker. Good memorable song that I could listen to over and over, which I did. Thank you... feel free to spin it as much as you want.

Herb,
Big song - Big stage - Big fun!
I do tend to agree that the drums could have been a little prominent. Other than that - supreme! I've never heard of Skillet - guess I need to do a little YouTube Surfin' tomorrow.
Very enjoyable!!! Oh, nice work with all those string things you played. Sounds like you might have done it before!
Enjoyed.
Alan Thanks.... regarding the drums.... I probably pulled them down during the mixing process to hear something else better and forgot to return them to their place of prominence in the mix. I've done that a few times.... Regarding the 6 and 4 string things.... I've been playing those since for a while.

Hi, Herb. Those are some big guitars you've got there! That bass pulled its weight, too. Excellent work all around! At 1:30, it sounds like the lyric is but they're not lie ent. It would be nice if there was some way to correct the phoneme recognizer in the software. I've got VocalFlex, and it's wrong often enough to be really irritating. I've got issues with Suno, but it's hard to argue with results.

It would be nice if there was some way to correct the phoneme recognizer in the software. I've got VocalFlex, and it's wrong often enough to be really irritating. I've got issues with Suno, but it's hard to argue with results. Who can argue with "big guitars"? Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Crank it up. So the vocal thing..... That wasn't a Suno vocal. It was from Audimee. I used Suno to grab the cover of the song and used the drum track from Suno but tossed the Suno vocal in favor of Audimee. There's always going to be issues with understanding and what it actually renders. As a side bar.... the song I did previous to this, one of the words in there was wonky. I rendered it several times and each time it came out weird. So I did what I needed to do. I colored outside of the lines. If it won't give me what I need, I will make what I need. So I searched the song for the "letter/sound" I needed to start the word correctly, I trimmed off the start of the wonky word and inserted the "letter/sound" that started the word, pitch corrected it to the pitch of the word and amazingly, it sounded perfect and no one listening, made any mention of that word. You sometimes can find ways around things. But to the point.... As I listen to the song during the mixing. I often go through the vocals soloed or with a lowered guitar for pitch and timing reference to be sure I don't leave anything in there that doesn't work. Nothing in this caught my attention but that's the beauty of having others listen to the parts with a critical ear. Other folks hear things that I don't, or, simply ignore. I did hear a "L" sound in that point you mentioned. Who knows what happened. Thanks for listening and commenting on the particulars.

Really big sound with this one, Herb, love the guitars, nice job on the bass too.
Vocal sounds great, but I miss hearing you to be honest, I really like the way you sing.
Really good song overall, enjoyed it.

So the vocal thing..... That wasn't a Suno vocal. It was from Audimee. That's why I also mentioned Vocoflex. All these vocal cloners without UIs will run into this problem, and there's no good way to correct them. I used Suno to grab the cover of the song and used the drum track from Suno but tossed the Suno vocal in favor of Audimee. There's always going to be issues with understanding and what it actually renders. Sorry, I mis-read your description as a Suno vocal then loaded into Audiomee. Which, of course, would simple increase the chances for errors. Heh. I've done that with my own vocals when I was too lazy to re-record them. I think the word you're looking for instead of "letter/sound" is "phoneme". Nothing in this caught my attention but that's the beauty of having others listen to the parts with a critical ear. Other folks hear things that I don't, or, simply ignore. There's been more than a few times I've put typos into SynthesizerV. Or worse, sung a lyric wrong when doubling/harmonizing a line, and not noticed until much later. I did hear a "L" sound in that point you mentioned. Who knows what happened. Well, /l/ and /r/ are "liquid" consonants, along with /w/ and /y/. That is, there's no static target that identifies the sound, so it's the movement that makes it distinct. The phoneme recognizer picked what it thought was the best match. Early speech recognizers weren't very good until they were augmented with word probabilities to guess at what the user was likely to be saying. But I'm pretty sure the phoneme identifier in Audiomee doesn't use an English dictionary.

Wow this is a really good song. Crazy vocal. Backtrack was awesome. Love the kick. I have a sub in my studio and it was definitely hitting me in a cool way.

Your guitars are the star here. Whatever you did to the AI vocal worked well as it sounds unique. We could hear this being performed in one of those megachurches. Nice heavy hittin’ anthemic mix.

That's crazy!
Yeah, fairly crushed in my ears, but it's not distracting.
A good production, of course, and a big sound. And yep, great guitars too.
And, there's that 'AI' stuff again....

J&B Thanks. I totally enjoy playing guitar so it's always a ton of fun. Regarding the AI vocal.... it's similar to BB. I don't just take it straight out the the box. It needs to be edited and a bit of work done on it to get the best out of it. You nailed it with the "megachurch" reference. As much as I, for the most part, detest those kinds of churches, you're correct. It's certainly not a First Burnt Stump Baptist Church kind of song. Hitting heavy.... nothing wrong with that for sure. Again, Thanks for listening and commenting.
