The moment I heard the mandolin I thought, "This is beautiful!" The arrangement of the song is superb and it's probably my favourite of yours to date. Joliz backing vocals are 100% on the mark. Although 'you' were "down like a pilot in a war" the song brought back my mother's and aunts' tributes to their younger and only brother - an uncle I never met - who at age 19 was a Flight Sergeant and tail gunner on a Lancaster bomber in WW2. His plane was shot down and all were lost, he at least not even 20. I can't imagine myself at any age doing what he did.
