Great one guys! Really exciting song, and captivating performances. Thanks!
Note on my posts: I listen to these wonderful and varied forum songs for pure enjoyment as part of my daily “radio,” in large chunks, while I am out and about. Then I post all my thoughts later, not on the spot. As I do not think the forum is a place for competitiveness, I will shy away from any critiques from now on. I come here for peace, fun and enjoyment only and have no self-absorbed opinions invested. I guess you might say I am a musical Buddhist. Thanks!

Loved it, echoing all the above kudos. Perfect format for your playing/singing..The melody was nice and crisp and allowed lots of space for fills. Great work! Happy you liked it! That's a real smokin' tune, with GREAT playing all the way around. Nice production with a strong, clear pulse surging through it. SUPER vocals! The distorted vocal FX are a good choice, but might be a tad less kazoo-like for max effect. The solo cameos in the video were a lot of fun, too. Know we're not hearing any BiaB, but this is fabulous, guys! Thanks, Ron As far as the vocal goes I haven't been singing very long and haven't sung many songs yet, so I'm not at all confident in my abilities. So I tend to try and add stuff to the vocal, such as distortion, to mask it. Was not going for a kazoo effect mind you! Absolutely fantastic classic trio rock song! Loved every second of it. Great video, too. Thanks, Chay!

Nice job, guys, especially enjoyed those tasty licks on the outro. Cool to see you in a video. Vocals were solid. Thanks, Bob! Great guitar intro. I think the three-piece arrangement is very successful, and the guitar sound is great. You're at the top like ZZ. Laurent Listened to a lot of ZZ Top back in the day. Thanks! Laurent beat me to it. I was gonna say, "ZZ Top lives!" Too fun seeing you playing in the video too. I loved that as well as how the guitar responds to the call in the verses. Appreciate that, Beth!

Hi, Dave. This sounds great. Nothing more to say. Although, sort of related... Your comment about the video reminded me of a Beatles video I was watching the other day. They had a publicity film shoot for a song they'd already finished, so Paul insisted they work on another song during the filming, instead of wasting the time. So by the end of the shoot they'd basically polished off a new song.

Hi Dave.
You and Marty tick every single box with this one! It's a brilliant creation. The trio sound that you've put together is amazing. Listening to it on speakers, it felt like I was in the room with the two of you. All the above high praise is very well deserved indeed!
Brilliant stuff! --Noel

Dave + Marty+a guy called EZdrummer( ) = the perfect power trio. A fantastic rock blues song as in a ZZTop song. As always outstanding guitar and bass chops. The vocal was perfect. Great mix. Loved it. Appreciate that, Mario! I agree with the ZZ Top comment. That guitar is a gritty howl. So cool a sound. And TB Player is tying the groove together. I love that blue Corvette. I want it but can't afford it. Excellent song. I'm a big fan of those early Corvettes too. Thanks, Scott! Everything's cool and that vocal REALLY sells it. The bass...ace, nails it from bar one and keeps locked in while walking. Super. Thanks, Ray! Hi Dave and Marty,
Great song! A few days ago, I listened to it on YouTube and really liked it, but I couldn't comment at the time (something unexpected happened here). And now, while I'm trying to listen to the songs of all the active forum members, I was also able to listen to your song again (and again) and finally give you my feedback; fantastic!!!
The intro stands as a rock! Cool riff! The song is pretty standard blues, but for me (and many others) the theme never gets old. That's proven once again, Mr. Blue Attitude!
Hans Cheers, Hans!

Cool blues rock song! I enjoyed the guitar riffs, reminded me of some famous song and I finally realized it was Marty's song where certain Dave played the guitar Your power trio rocks solidly like a Corvette engine. Nicely flowing rhyming describes the deja vu feel very lively. And your husky voice is at home in this bluesy soundscape. Janne
