An interesting song and one of the few where the mandolin doesn't bother me at all, because it is used tastefully and unobtrusively.
I also like the lyrics and the story you're telling.

PS: Aren't the bridges actually choruses? Thanks B.D. I’ve been attracted to the mandolin since R.E.M. and Neil Finn. It’s a really fine acoustic instrument with versatility. Part of the story is mine; part is what I might imagine but not hope for in the future. Chorus? Probably, but initially there was only one of them, so it felt like a bridge, so I kept with the label. Maybe where a bridge repeats, it becomes a chorus?  Thanks for listening! Andrew
