I just want an efficient search function/method in BIAB so I can find what I am looking for, otherwise the software with all its styles and instruments (11000+) are quite meaningless and useless for me.
BIAB 2026, Studio Pro 8, Song Master Pro, Win11 Home. i7-9700K CPU, 32GB, ESI MAYA44eX, ZOOM UAC-2, Guitar Pro 8, Transcribe, (EZKeys2, EZD3, SD3, EZBass, EZMix3)
Amateur: fiddle, guitar, vocal, beginner on bass.

However, through each year's delivery, we arrive at the perception of a company policy that users' somehow want them to just keep on delivering more and more esoteric functionality, so much of it far removed from the core business of generating quality music. IMHO we, the forum users including myself, are the main reason that has happened. We have wished for many features that are outside of the BiaB's main function of backing track generation. PGM has tried to modify BiaB to include such functions. I wish that I could take back every non-main function suggestion and +1 to other non-main function suggestions I have given over the years. For many years now I have just wished that they focused on improving key parts of the program. Fifty new features every year just isn't helpful any more in my view  Fifty or less improved features would really be welcomed. I totally agree.
OK, a random thought;
Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?

UPDATE:
......... It does NOT export in MusicXML or MIDI. ------. In SongMaster Pro you can export the song in MusicXML from the file menue export song/MusicXML, and you can export the generated MIDI from the "Patches View" save MIDI or drag the midi directly over to your DAW etc (options to include time map, sections as markers, chords as markers, chords as midi notes ....) Ahhh THANKS for pointing out my error. That is great news. I sure wish there was a user forum for this software.
