Hi Fred, what a great tune. Love the band. It's a great cross-over sound. May have to steal it. Makes me wanna got to Reno! Incidentally, I have a gambling song...swing style...but I'm having trouble chording it. I digress. Anyhoo, really enjoyed this one!

Fred, super groove and vocal. Great choice in RTs. I don't gamble and since I'm partially color blind the bright lights of Reno don't do a thing for me but this song makes me want to go there anyway! An excellent song.

Hi Fred! Great song. I like it a lot! To me, it reminded me of a cross between R.E.M. and The Jayhawks, with exception of the steel guitar. After each verse, I just wanted it to go to that chorus. Thanks for posting! Andrew

Love the rhythm section is this song! Had me hooked from the start. Great production, arrangement, lyrics and vocals. The solo is also perfect for the song.

Thanks for posting! Andrew Thanks, Andrew. The Jayhawks are from here in Minnesota, so I am very familiar with their work. R.E.M. is an interesting observation. Fred

Smooth groove, easy on the ears, I liked it. Normally I don't like rhyming every line as you did on the chorus but it seemed fine here. Maybe would've liked to have heard more gambler lingo in the lyrics. Good tune, good vox, good job!

I'm not a gambler but I did work in some blackjack lingo: bust the dealer, bring down the house, shoe, etc. Fred

Great strong start that let's us know we're in for a musical treat, Fred. Blackjack fever is about the art of the game, and you magnificently delivered it though the art of music. Good mix, and I like the subtle harmony --and of course the vocal. Very inviting song.
