Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach was the fifth child and the second surviving son of the legendary Johann Sebastian Bach. This arrangement and its performance by the Lucas Sestak Trio are outstanding.

What an absolutely outstanding performance, the dynamics are sensational, the rhythm and timing unbelievable, the musicians all so incredibly talented, the animation astounding.
Also, the totally unexpected and humorous way the performance starts, amazing!

Hi Trev. You echo my thoughts completely. I was just watching the trio's version of Chopin's "Minute Waltz" and it's left me speechless. They're incredible musicians! It must have taken quite a few years to get to this level of expertise.

Ha Ha, these guys are comedians as well. Checkout the 'transpositions' at this part of the clip . Not to mention the bass player laying under the piano! The banana and cuppa are a laugh too. Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

And get a load of this: tickets are between €10 & €30 That would be an excellent concert. I live less than an hour from Bordeaux by train, but the total time (roundtrip by train, transfers from and back to the train station and the concert itself) is longer than I'm comfortable leaving my two small senior dogs alone. But I'm definitely going to check out his videos and CD(s). And thanks Noel for the heads-up! EDIT: I found 4 Luca Sestak albums on Amazon Music: Lost in Boogie (2010), New Way - Blues & Boogie (2014), Right or Wrong (2020) and Lighter Notes (2024). Playlist created!
