Great song!! Loved everything about it!
I’ve come to the conclusion that the only person who can understand, appreciate, marvel over what I write is ME.
While I truly appreciate all of the love and comments that come through this forum, I expect that my projects will evaporate into the vapor in 20 minutes.
I’m not a performer but I think that if anyone were to ask me to sing one of my original songs, I would politely decline so that I could avoid the embarrassment, disappointment, etc. that you expressed in your song.
But this one—I will probably remember forever.! I don't perform that much these days but when I do, I really don't include my original songs ...except maybe one or two. People seem to like what they're familiar with. But I do find that, at times, when I perform one of my original songs for somebody ....and they actually sit and listen ...then they do seem to like it and that feels good.
