Great song!! Loved everything about it!
I’ve come to the conclusion that the only person who can understand, appreciate, marvel over what I write is ME.
While I truly appreciate all of the love and comments that come through this forum, I expect that my projects will evaporate into the vapor in 20 minutes.
I’m not a performer but I think that if anyone were to ask me to sing one of my original songs, I would politely decline so that I could avoid the embarrassment, disappointment, etc. that you expressed in your song.
But this one—I will probably remember forever.! I don't perform that much these days but when I do, I really don't include my original songs ...except maybe one or two. People seem to like what they're familiar with. But I do find that, at times, when I perform one of my original songs for somebody ....and they actually sit and listen ...then they do seem to like it and that feels good. By the way, thank you very much. I'm glad that you like the song.
