Slow blues this time, vocal and lyrics from Chris Spruit: Audio only link: Over and Over Again The Band:4856:Organ, Rhythm SoulJazzGroovinFunkRHComping Ev 100 4883:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm SoulJazzGroovinSlowFunk Ev 100 Marty Straub (BabuMusic) is playing the bass. I played the lead guitar and built the drum track with EZDrummer3. Mixed in Reaper using native plugins and plugins from waves and iZotope, mastered with Ozone 11. Over and Over Again (2025, Chris Spruit)

I thought it was odd when I saw this post as I'd definitely listened to it previously and commented, yet there was no comment from me! It took awhile before I realised that I'd not seen the video here but on YT! Yep, it's wonderful, wonderful blues and Chris's vocals are as ever to live for!

Oooo sloooooow Blues has never been this good. I remember it started at 50BPM where each quarter note seems to get four beats. Dang, your guitar is amazing, Dave. Tone, taste and touch. Chris sings like no one else. I know she doesn't believe me that she is my favorite vocalist --ha, and you probably don't believe you are my favorite guitarist (well, there's Django and Wes, but you get me). Aptly titled song that requires many many listens.

Great job, Dave, Marty and Chris. Love the heartbreak churning below the surface of the performances. The tone and mix placement on the lead guitar and bass are super, too. Chris' vocals are spectacular as always. Super tune, guys!

Dave, excellent dive into the blues! You solo-ing sounds great, as usual, as well as Marty's bass and Chris' vocal. I'll have to bookmark this one for when I'm feeling really down and need to be lifted up! I really liked that organ RT--never used it, but will have to check it out for a future project.

Dave, some of the best blues licks that I have ever heard.
All of this in a package that sounds like it was recorded in a professional studio.
If I had heard this song in a record store I would have purchased it right then and there.
Loved it.
